About Our Club

Bushidokai is a blend of martial arts reflective of the traditional techniques associated with most martial arts whilst incorporating a true warrior approach of using what works for the situation at hand.

That is to say, we don’t believe in doing something simply because it is traditional when the application has no relevance in today’s world.

The word Bushidokai is Japanese in origin, meaning a gathering (Kai) of those who follow the way (Do) of the Warrior (Bushi)

BRANCH CLASSES

Branch classes offer you the opportunity to learn in a safe and friendly environment with other members where you can build lifelong friendships and enjoy the feeling of belonging to a genuine family of martial arts warriors. Classes are delivered under the guidance of your qualified, accredited Bushidokai Instructor. All Bushidokai Instructors are qualified and accredited through Australia’s peak industry body; Martial Arts Australia.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are a way of greatly accelerating your learning one on one with your Instructor. Whether you need that little extra refinement on part of your technique, you’re looking to catch up on some missed class content, or perhaps you just enjoy having that focused energy which comes from receiving learning one on one, a private lesson can work wonders for your development and confidence. Shihan Glenn Coxon Having commenced his martial arts with Boxing at the ripe age of 7, Shihan Glenn Coxon has dedicated a lifetime to the study of the Martial Arts and has travelled extensively in the pursuit of knowledge to share and train with the best in the world of the fighting arts. In his travels he has worked with many local and international Instructors of renown such as Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez, Bill ‘Superfoot’ Wallace, Chuck Norris, Dan Inosanto, Joe Lewis, Richard Norton and many others.
